Zaporizzhya region: SBU blocks export of military-grade goods from Ukraine (video)

SBU officers in Zaporizzhya blocked the operation of Russian special services on transporting the military goods for the Russian armed forces’ needs.

The CI officers established that the special services of the Russian Federation and representatives of Russian military and industrial companies attempted to organize a supply channel of Ukrainian goods necessary for the Russian Navy, bypassing anti-Russian sanctions imposed by Ukraine.

The SBU officers documented that the offenders used controlled commercial structures in one of the European countries to create the mechanism for supplying the goods. Then, the offenders planned to deliver the goods manufactured by the Zaporizzhya-based specialized military company to the country-aggressor. The customers were the Russian structures specialized in equipping and assembling the nuclear submarines, in particular, based on the temporarily annexed territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

During searches at a company premises, law enforcers seized documentation and a consignment of the military goods planned for transportation to Russia in the near future. The investigative and operative actions in the framework of the criminal proceedings initiated under Articles 111 and 333 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine are under way.
