The SBU bans entry for 23 Russian citizens involved in activity of Russian intelligence services who are expelled from the UK
The SBU closed entry to Ukraine for the 23 Russian citizens who are involved in the activity of the Russian intelligence services and were expelled from the United Kingdom due to poisoning of Serhiy Skrypal and his daughter.
The SBU Head noted that their activities were an outright abuse of one of the key functions of the diplomatic mission as defined by the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations (1961) - encouraging of friendly relations between the states.
Emphasizing the Ukraine's experience in countering the hybrid aggression of Russia, Vasyl Hrytsak stressed that the Russian intelligence officers under the guise of diplomats were committing cynical provocations aimed at undermining the foundations of international stability and security.
