During the pre-trial investigation, the enormous amount of information was analyzed, including materials from the surveillance cameras in the area of committing the terrorist attack. “The investigators conducted the detailed examination of the data, which enabled to establish the timeline of the organized terrorist attack,” said the First Deputy Prosecutor of Kyiv Pavlo Kononenko.

The SBU officers identified three executors of the crime, whose presence together with the representative was repeatedly documented at the place of planning the terrorist attack. “Two persons involved were recruited by the Russian secret services while staying in the temporarily annexed territory of Crimea and visits to Russia,” Viktor Kononenko stressed. The offenders were served a notice of suspicion in committing the crime in the framework of the initiated criminal proceeding and they will be put on the wanted list. “We know where they are hiding from the Ukrainian justice,” said the SBU Deputy Head.

The law enforcers detained the third executor of the terrorist attack, who planted the explosive device in the garage on the motorbike purchased by one of the accomplices. During a search in the garage cooperative, the SBU operatives
