SBU exposes Neo-Nazi group headed by Russian

SBU employees exposed and blocked the activity of Neo-Nazi radicals, headed by a Russian citizen. The investigative actions took place simultaneously in Kyiv and Kharkiv.

Allegedly, the gang members are the followers Australian terrorist Brenton Tarrant - a propagandist of ethnic and cultural genocide, who calls for acts of terrorism and mass killing. To promote their ideas, the perpetrators published and disseminated extremist literature. The suspects printed illegal publications and Nazi symbols in their own clandestine print works in Darnytskyi district of Kyiv and in Kharkiv. The Neo-Nazi received part of the extremist materials from Russia.

Then the materials were distributed during the secret meetings and theme parties. SBU also documented facts of distributing extremist publications via Telegram groups and closed communities with more than 3,000 members in social networks.

During the searches of the leader’s residence and clandestine print works, the law enforcement seized more than 300 copies of Nazi editions, the Third Reich flags, arms and ammo, explosive devices, computers administering the closed communities and receipts with confirmations of literature deliveries from abroad. Earlier, the SBU seized 200 copies of extremist literature in Kharkiv.

The investigation upon the fact of incitement to commit terrorist acts is ongoing. The issue of serving the gang activists notices of suspicion and brining to justice all the persons involved is being settled. The operation was conducted under the supervision of the Prosecutor General's Office and the Prosecutor's Office of Kyiv city.
