In Kyiv the Security Service of Ukraine officers detained five foreigners supporters of Islamic State terrorist organization.

Citizens of the former Soviet Union arrived to Ukraine where they were promised to be supplied with forged papers from abroad. Then they planned to depart to the Syrian conflict area. The SBU officers together with Migration Service swiftly ascertained a fact of ISIL supporters staying at a rental apartment in Kyiv.

Based on the SBU materials the decision about the expulsion of foreigners to their home countries was taken.

Last year by efforts of the Security Service of Ukraine twenty five potential terrorist organization participants were ordered out of our country. Six members of Islamic State internationally wanted by Interpol were detained by the SBU officers for further extradition.
